Vehicles are exempt from technical inspection for the first four years after their initial registration.
After this period, they must undergo periodic technical inspections according to the following schedule:
- At the end of the first 4 years,
- Then every 2 years until the 6th year,
- And annually from the 7th year.

Do I have to mount my license plates myself?
If you wish to install your license plates on your vehicle yourself, you will find all the necessary equipment at our store. We also offer an installation package with an expert technician who can take care of installing your plates directly in our workshop.
Do you handle the registration of my vehicle?
Yes, we handle the entire vehicle registration process. This includes collecting and returning the vehicle to the address of your choice, preparing the required documents, submitting the registration application to the relevant authorities, as well as manufacturing and installing the new license plates.
How long does it take to get a license plate?
In the store, if all your documents are in order, your license plates can be made in just 15 minutes by our experts.
Can I keep my old license plate after making the change?
Yes, you can keep your old license plate after the change has been made. However, it is important to note that you must install the new plates on your vehicle to comply with the legislation.
Is it possible to have the license plates delivered?
Yes, we offer a delivery service for your license plates, free of charge for all customers ordering on our site and residing in Luxembourg. Deliveries outside Luxembourg will automatically incur a delivery charge of €25.
